Raiders stars get life-size statues made of chocolate

Who needs wax — when you can have chocolate? Life-size chocolate statues of Las Vegas Raiders stars Derek Carr and Darren Waller made their debut at the ARIA Resorts and Casino to begin the NFL season.

Ten pastry chefs from ARIA Patisserie spent four weeks molding and crafting more than 200 pounds of chocolate, 40 pounds of fondant and 100 pounds of sugar into the Raiders display. The silver, black and chocolate showcase also includes a replica of Allegiant Stadium.

Raiders tight end Waller gave his approval of his chocolate-me ahead of the season opener Monday night, where the Raiders defeated the Baltimore Ravens 33-27. The sweet display can be seen throughout the season.
